A two-strand Pueblo fetish necklace strung on hand-cut heishi shell beads, carrying a full cast of hand-carved stone animals — bears, wolves, and zoomorphic figures in turquoise, onyx, jasper, mother of pearl, and more — anchored by a large spread-wing turquoise thunderbird at the center.

  • Two-strand heishi construction with animal fetishes drilled laterally across both strands, creating a traditional ladder-style presentation
  • Centerpiece is a substantial hand-carved turquoise thunderbird in spread-wing form — the dominant focal point
  • Fetish carvings span at least seven stone types: turquoise, black onyx, red jasper, olive-toned stone, mother of pearl, yellow ochre stone, and cream stone
  • Terminates with silver-tone cone end caps and an S-hook clasp — construction consistent with mid-to-late 20th century Pueblo (Zuni) craft tradition
  • Unsigned — no hallmarks visible; unmarked silver hardware
